Three-Dimensional Construction - Form - Design - Texture - Pattern

Experience

Who doesn't love a secret hiding spot, a place to put that first concert ticket, special note, or favorite necklace? In this four-day workshop, teens design and create unique boxes that show off their personalities. Students learn basic metalsmithing and fabrication techniques such as piercing, filing, sanding, and soldering, as well as have the opportunity to add color or found objects to their creations. Students leave with newfound confidence along with useful skills and a special keepsake object. No prior metalsmithing experience necessary.
