Studio Rentals

November through April. Daily and weekly rates.

Space to Create.

From November through April, we open our studios to individuals and small groups in search of space for self-directed work. Expand your practice, take risks, try new media, or complete an unfinished project in one of our fully equipped and light-filled studios. Come for a day or a week and enjoy an expansive workspace without having to pack up your materials each day.

Studio space is available to rent Tuesday through Saturday. All rentals are reserved on a first come, first served basis and must be scheduled in advance by phone or email. Please note: The ceramics studio is rented to individuals only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while Saturdays are open for Community Clay attendees and other ceramicists to work alongside one another. Again, all rentals must be scheduled in advance.

To reserve studio space, contact Chelsea, Programs and Studio Manager via email at chelsea@penart.org or phone at 920.868.3455 x2. Scheduled classes, workshops, and events are given space priority.

Our Studios

Painting

Take advantage of PenArt’s generously appointed and light filled painting studios to work at your own pace. Easels, taborets, large tables, and drawing boards are available to use. All materials are the responsibility of the artist.

Printmaking

Create prints independently in the printmaking studio. A combination etching and litho press is available for a variety of print processes, as well as an exposure unit for screen printing. All materials are the responsibility of the artist. Silkscreens can be rented for a small fee.

Metals

PenArt’s fully equipped metals studio is open to those with jewelry making and metalsmithing experience. Use our torches, flex shafts, buffing machines, rolling mill, tumbler, enamel kilns, hand tools, and more. All consumable materials are the responsibility of the artist.

Ceramics

A great option for those with ceramics experience, the clay studio provides access to pottery wheels, tables for hand building, extruder, slab roller, molds, basic tools, underglazes, and glazes. Electric kilns are used to fire all work. Additional fees apply for clay, glaze, and firing.
