Invent new games or recreate one of your favorites in this workshop focused on board game design and play. Young artists brainstorm themes and concepts for their games before diving into making their gameboards using drawing and painting materials on a sturdy base. Game pieces are sculpted out of self-hardening clay and finished with tempera paints. A written set of instructions completes each game set. The day finishes with students playing each other's board games.

Please bring a packed lunch!
