Program Overview

Join ceramicists of all levels for an afternoon in the studio pursuing your own direction in clay at your own pace! Studio facilitator Reneé Schwaller orients each participant to the space, materials, and equipment, shares helpful tips throughout, and ensures everyone has a positive experience.

About Reneé

Reneé has been creating unique, handmade pottery for over 25 years. Making and using handmade, functional pottery and other objects brings Reneé joy. She wants to make things by hand that will serve a function, a purpose, and be useful for years and year. Enjoy her beautiful work and work of 40 regional and national artists in her historic timber-framed barn, granary, and working studio Off the Wheel Pottery in Egg Harbor.

Schedule and Fees

Thursdays, January 8 - March 19, 2026 | Noon to 4pm

  • Single Session Fee - Members: $20 | Non-Members: $25

  • Punch Cards available. Pay for ten sessions, get the eleventh free! Members: $200 | Non-Members: $250. Punch cards can also be used toward Studio Rental sessions.

  • All firing and glazing fees included.

  • Clay purchased separately. $4 per 5-pounds or $20 for a $25-pound bag.

Spaces are limited and pre-registration for each session is required. Pre-registration opens each Tuesday at 9am for the following Thursday’s session. Call 920.868.3455 to reserve your spot! First come, first served.
