Instructor
With a well-honed teaching process that includes a strong dose of joy, it is Jenni Bateman’s goal for each student to leave her classroom well-equipped to practice what they’ve been taught and without fear, continue to make each process their own. In her own work, she crosses over a number of mediums. Her inquisitive nature explores ‘inside-the-box-thinking’ and solving tough problems with breakthrough ideas. By limiting options, she opens discovery to a whole new process of innovation and delights in seeing solutions that may be hiding in plain sight. Jenni’s work is continually submitted for juried exhibitions, gallery and museum consideration, and the ongoing project of her Just Another Stupid Card. Outside of the studio, she is an avid explorer of bays, inlets, and bogs by kayak or sailboat.
