Hands on Art History | Ages 7-9

Concept and Experience

The work of well-known sculptors from throughout art history is explored in this workshop. Young artists look at the ideas and materials that made each artist famous, from Alexander Calder to Claes Oldenburg, Louise Nevelson, Frank Stella, and Yayoi Kusama. Skill building exercises and final projects are completed using cardboard, fibers, wood, wire, found objects, and more.
