Concept and Experience

In this ceramics workshop, young artists create functional and decorative clay pieces using hand building and wheel-throwing techniques. Cups, bowls, vases, platters, and bookends are created. Add texture, pattern, and color using mark-making tools and brightly colored underglazes. All pieces are finished with a clear glaze to ensure they are food safe.
