Peninsula School of Art Hosts Open House at the Ingwersen Studio and Gallery
Peninsula School of Art (PenArt) invites the Door County community to an Open House at the Ingwersen Studio and Gallery on Saturday, October 11, from 1–3 pm.
The event will honor the generosity and vision of James and Phyllis Ingwersen, whose historic gift secured their legacy and made the Ingwersen Studio and Gallery available for future generations of artists and art lovers to enjoy. Their legacy ensures that creativity will continue to flourish in Door County for years to come.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the historic buildings, meet PenArt staff and board members, and learn about how the Ingwersen Studio and Gallery expands PenArt’s capacity to engage the community through exhibitions, classes, and special events.
“This extraordinary 40-acre property with studio and gallery space represents an exciting next chapter for PenArt,” said Adam Erickson, Executive Director. “The Ingwersen Studio and Gallery allows us to deepen our community impact, host new programs, and provide additional opportunities for learning, conversation, and connection through the arts.”
The Ingwersen Studio and Gallery has become a part of PenArt due to the generous legacy of James and Phyllis Ingwersen, whose commitment to the arts and community continues to shape the future of the arts in Door County. The October 11 Open House will celebrate this gift and welcome the community to share in its vision.
The event is free and open to the public.
