Join us for an opening reception of The Searching Eye curated by Shan Bryan-Hanson in the Guenzel Gallery!

For 60 years, the Peninsula School of Art has made space for artists to embrace this search. It began with the vision of the school’s founder, Madeline Tourtelot, and has grown to become a vibrant tapestry of many voices and perspectives. The artists selected for this exhibition are connected with the school in different ways–as instructors, residents, students, and more– and embody, through their art practice, Tourtelot’s sense of exploration, experimentation and an enduring commitment to individual artistic vision. 

The curator and select artists will be in attendance. A brief public talk will begin at 4pm.
