Collaborative Mural Making | Ages 7-12

Concept and Experience

Murals are a powerful tool for starting conversation, building relationships, and empowering communities. Working collaboratively, students brainstorm ideas, create preliminary drawings, transfer the final image to canvas, and render imagery with tempera paint. The completed mural is displayed in the Youth Wing Gallery. Small drawing and painting studies are taken home.
