Concept and Experience

Do you dread reading the words, "Please include a copy of your artist statement and bio"? If so, this is the workshop for you. Discuss why these professional documents are important to keep up-to-date and ready to share and how an artist's statement can help viewers engage with your artwork. Participate in exercises that make writing your statement and bio easier; maybe even fun! Leave the workshop with solid first drafts of both of these documents. Bring your computer or notebook, as well as five images of your work.
