Concept and Experience

Art and sports intersect in this two- and three-dimensionally driven workshop. Young artists discover the building blocks of design through the lens of sports logos, mascots, and courts and fields. Students conceptualize and draw their own team names and logos with consideration for color and style, design their own mascots, jerseys, and fan apparel, and construct a model of their team's home court or field using basic materials and techniques.
