Animal Planters with Debbie Kupinsky
Saturday, June 20 | 9am-4pm
Clay | All Levels
Members: $195 | Non-Members: $205
Concept
In this one-day workshop, create a piece on the wheel or in slab form and transform it into an animal planter. Learn how to manipulate clay in the wet state to shape features such as eyes, ears, tails, and other detail elements.
Experience
Demonstrations introduce carving techniques and underglaze decoration. Working from handouts, examples, and animal reference images, create a map of features and surface texture on practice forms. Come away with one animal planter and the ability to create many more!
Skill Level
All levels welcome.
