In this workshop, young artists read and draw inspiration from popular children's books to create their own characters, tell new stories, and combine language and art. Throughout the week students learn basic techniques in drawing, painting, and bookmaking, as well as methods for telling and illustrating stories of their own. Leave this workshop with a series of two-dimensional pieces.
