For over 50 years, the 10-acre Peninsula School of Art campus been a destination and a welcoming community for art makers and art enthusiasts, providing time and space for artists—of all levels—to learn, create and be inspired.
Located just off the beaten path in the town of Fish Creek - the heart of Door County, we offer state-of-the-art facilities and access to our nationally-recognized faculty through workshops for adults, teens and children. In addition, PenArt hosts many public events, such as the exciting Door County Plein Air Festival, Community Iron Pour, Winter Print, meet the artist events, gallery exhibitions and more.
Our campus is open all year. Facilities include an outdoor sculpture garden, public gallery, three painting and drawing studios, ceramics studio, metals studio, two children’s and youth arts studios, meeting and lecture room, art resource library, and an archives and study center.
We are located 90 minutes from Green Bay and approximately 150 miles north of Milwaukee. PenArt is open from 8am-5pm, Monday through Saturday, May through October; and Tuesday through Saturday, November through April (except for major holidays).
