For Artists

You are part of PenArt, a thriving community of artists and learners. Working together in the studio, you share discoveries and progress, but you might not get to share the results—how you incorporate those experiences into your practice. This is your chance to do just that. Submission information is below, if there are additional questions,  please click to email us.

Drop off work in Guenzel Gallery

February 13, 4-6pm

Opening reception

Exhibition closes

March 31-April 3

Pick up work. Any work not picked up by 5pm on April 3 will become property of the Peninsula School of Art.

 

Eligibility

Artist must have:

  • Participated in one of the following since September, 2019: Open Studios, Teen Workshops, Critique Group, or Family Art Days.
  • Completed the entry form on the reverse.
  • Entered a maximum of three works.

Art must be:

  • Created in 2018, 2019, or 2020.
  • No larger than 48 inches in any dimension, and no more than 75 pounds.
  • Hang ready (if two-dimensional). Frames and canvases must have wires. Unframed works on paper will be hung with magnets. Wall-hanging sculpture must have appropriate hardware.

Peninsula School of Art will:

  • Retain a 20% commission on the sale of works. Checks will be mailed within two weeks of the close of the exhibition.
  • Reserve the right to photograph all exhibited work and use the images for publicity purposes.
  • Insure loaned items under its fine art policy between January 6 and April 3, 2020 for the amount specified on the entry form. Coverage is limited to any damage or loss that occurs on location at Peninsula School of Art and while in the custody of Peninsula School of Art.
  • Reserve the right to not exhibit works of art.
