Teaching Proposals

Submit a proposal to teach at PenArt.

Overview

Peninsula School of Art seeks proposals from qualified artist educators for workshops in 2022 and beyond. We offer a balanced studio curriculum that covers technical skill building, conceptual investigation, and contemporary approaches to traditional media and methodologies. Our studio program includes workshops in all drawing and painting media, printmaking, photography, digital media, small metals, sculpture, ceramics, and professional development.

Critical characteristics of workshop instructors include excitement and passion for teaching, a can-do attitude, ability to facilitate a transformative art education experience for adult students of all backgrounds, and dexterity and expertise in the media and topic at hand. In addition to teaching, instructors should be active contributors to their field through participation in research, exhibitions, residencies, and/or conferences.
